Today marks day 2 of our countdown! Today, we are excited to have our Senior Marketing Manager, Cheryl Kerwin, share some of her fun Valentine’s favorites!<\/em> \"Valentine's<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. What is your favorite literary romance, and what makes it your favorite?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I struggled a bit with this one. Do I go with a more traditional story like Pride &\u00a0Prejudice\u00a0<\/em>and Sense\u00a0& Sensibility<\/em> or more contemporary like Bridget Jones? But what I ended up with is a Geopolitical thriller.\u00a0 Yes, you read correctly\u2026in The Last Jihad<\/a> <\/em>by Joel C. Rosenberg, Jon Bennett meets Erin McCoy, they fall in love and get married while killing bad guys and saving the world. Why wouldn\u2019t you love a love story like that?!<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. What is your favorite Valentine\u2019s memory, or what is the most romantic thing anyone ever did for you?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      I have to say it\u2019s when I was younger; my mom was the champion sugar cookie maker. They always turned out just right, and the frosting was unbelievable! Every Valentine\u2019s Day, she would make cookies for us to take to school for our class.\u00a0 There were 5 of us kids, so as you can imagine, there were a lot of cookies.\u00a0 The best thing about taking those cookies to school was our classmates would be waiting with baited breath for those cookies to come through that door. \u00a0I still have people telling me \u201cI remember your mom\u2019s cookies\u2026.\u201d Those were the days.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u00a0<\/span>As I got \u201colder\u201d and more \u201csingle\u201d there was a group of young ladies that would get together on Valentine\u2019s Day. We would get dressed up, and instead of staying home to sulk, we went out to celebrate our friendship!<\/span><\/p>\n
