You know how when you play Hide and Seek, there\u2019s one place where you\u2019re safe? Home base is your safe place, your refuge. (See? You learned a new word\u2014a refuge is a safe place!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A refuge can be wherever you feel safe, kind of like a home base. And the safest \u201cplace\u201d of all is with God! Read NAHUM 1:7 out loud so you remember where your home base should be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOD WANTS TO BE OUR HOME BASE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Write, \u201cGod Is My Home Base\u201d in the center of a sheet of poster board.<\/li>
  2. Draw a square around the words. (Now it looks like a home base.)<\/li>
  3. Around the poster,write or draw things that trouble you.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    See how all those troubling things are outside the home base?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Hang your poster in your room to remind you that God will be your refuge in times of trouble!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
