Christmas is always an exciting time for the Bible Team as we rejoice in God giving us the greatest gift! But we also get excited about the presents waiting under our Christmas trees. This year, we all have a special Bible we hope to unwrap Christmas morning. See what Bibles we want for Christmas. What about you? Which Bible is on your Christmas list?

Jeff: I’m wishing for a black goatskin leather edition of the NLT Select Large Print Thinline Bible. This is a gorgeous high-end Bible with art gilt page edges, three ribbon markers, spine hubs, and a really generous large print type! And it gives me access to the Filament Bible app. It’s a high-end study Bible without the bulk!

Lauren: I’m loving the new Biblia de margen amplio NTV con Filament, released just this summer. The Bible comes in three different bindings—floral, lion, and cross (the floral cover has especially caught my eye!)—and is special because it is both Filament enabled and has wide, ruled margins for note-taking. I appreciate having space to reflect as I read God’s Word and am excited about having this Bible in the Nueva Traducción Viviente (NTV).

Maissie: High on my Christmas list is the NLT Wide Margin Bible, Filament Enabled. This Bible is great to bring to church and take notes in the margins during the sermon. Then at the end of the year, I can go back through my notes and be reminded of all that God was teaching me throughout the year. The Filament app allows me to dive into the history and context of the Bible to better understand what I’m reading in my personal study time. And I love the beautiful Sage Green Palm design!

Laurel: The Bible I would like to receive for Christmas this year is The One Year Bible New Testament for New Beginnings by DaySpring. I love the idea of following a One Year Bible reading plan, but I’ve often felt overwhelmed by the length of the readings. With this plan only going through the New Testament, it feels easier to digest in my current busy season of life. I also appreciate the fact that the calendar is customizable, so you don’t have to start the plan on January 1. And of course, the beautiful design of this product is the cherry on top!

Claudia: I’ve been waiting for a wide-margin journaling Bible in the NTV, and I’m so happy that I’ll be able to have one this Christmas! I love the new Biblia de margen amplio NTV con Filament. Its cover design is beautiful, the trim size is perfect, and I especially love the fact that I can now journal, draw, or simply write notes or record my prayers as I read my Bible. Thank you, Tyndale, for such a wonderful gift! And thank you also for creating the Filament Bible app, which is such a great addition to your Bibles now. What a huge blessing to every reader this is, because it provides us the opportunity to deepen our study of God’s Word! I’m so excited to have this Bible in my hands this Christmas! Thank you again!

Sandra: I think the NLT Pocket Thinline Bible, Filament Enabled Bibles would make such great stocking stuffers! I like that they are about the size of a smartphone, so they easily slip into a pocket or purse to take with me wherever I go. Also, when I want more information or visuals, these Bibles connect to the Filament app so I can dig into study notes, open a map, or watch a video related to the passage I’m reading. It’s a small Bible that gives me the flexibility to take it anywhere and go deeper when I want to. I have a feeling a few of these might find their way into my family’s stockings this Christmas!

Rosario: Biblia de estudio del diario vivir NTV Café Rosa cover is the Bible I would love under my tree. I absolutely love the beautiful and unique cover of this Bible, but what really makes me want it is all the study content inside. I would love to have a Bible with hundreds of study notes that can help me better understand God’s Word and learn how to apply it to my everyday life. I’m always looking for ways to grow in my knowledge of the Bible and strengthen my faith, and I feel like this Bible would be such a valuable tool in that journey. It’s definitely at the top of my Christmas wish list this year!

Evie: I am hoping to have a Midnight Mom Devotional Bible in the navy with stars LeatherLike under my Christmas tree. As a mom who has kids in new phases of life, this Bible is such a comfort because I know there are other women out there facing similar joys and struggles. The prayers resonate with my heart, and the reading plans are perfect for where I am on my mom journey. And the cover and designs are so pretty!

Alex: For Christmas I would love the brown Bíblia Sagrada NVT Slim Letra Grande com Filament . My wife is a native Portuguese speaker, so reading the Bible in Portuguese is a great way for us to study God’s Word together in her heart language. This Slimline Large Print Bible is Tyndale’s first Bible in Portuguese, and it utilizes the Nova Versão Transformadora (NVT) which is a sister translation to the NLT. This Portuguese translation, which was translated from the original Greek and Hebrew, is just as accurate, understandable, and audibly enjoyable as the NLT, and this Bible also includes access to Filament. The plain language of the NVT is perfect for a native speaker like my wife or a Portuguese learner like me.

Kate: NLT Thinline Reference Bible, Filament Enabled, Messenger Brown is everything a Bible should be and nothing that it shouldn’t. It’s compact, but not small. It looks cool, but not too cool. Classic brown with an extra twist, and it’s got Filament and red letters. Any Christmas tree would be lucky to have this Bible.
